Current Opening:

Events Coordinator

Help us bring downtown Calera to life. As our Events Coordinator, you’ll plan and produce the events that make Calera’s downtown a gathering place for families, businesses, and visitors alike — from First Friday celebrations to Trunk or Treat and beyond. If you’re organized, creative, and energized by community-building, this role is for you.

Help downtown Calera grow and thrive. As our Economic Vitality Coordinator, you’ll work with downtown businesses, property owners, and community partners to support business growth, attract new investment, and strengthen the economic vitality of our historic district. If you’re a relationship-builder who enjoys connecting people and ideas, this role is for you.

Help tell the story of Downtown Calera. As our Social Media Coordinator, you’ll create and share engaging content that promotes downtown businesses, events, community happenings, and the work of Calera Main Street across our social media platforms. If you’re creative, connected, and love finding the stories that make a community special, this role is for you.

Volunteer With Us

Not looking for a full-time role but still want to get involved? Calera Main Street runs on the energy of volunteers who give their time to events, beautification projects, and community outreach. No experience necessary — just a love for downtown and a willingness to pitch in.
