Preservation Through Partnership
Calera Main Street works alongside property owners, business owners, community members and the City of Calera to encourage thoughtful investment in our historic district.
The City of Calera’s Historical District Plan Review Board plays an important role in the review of projects within the historic district. Calera Main Street looks forward to working collaboratively with the Board and City staff to support property owners, share resources and encourage projects that strengthen downtown while respecting its historic character.
Our role is to help connect people with information, resources and partnerships that can make thoughtful improvements to historic properties possible. Together, we can make preservation a meaningful part of downtown’s continued growth.
