CALERA, Ala. – Hold on to your hats—Downtown Calera is going full throttle Western this fall with the launch of its biggest event yet: the Calera Stampede PCA Rodeo, happening October 17 & 18, 2025. This high-energy weekend will feature two nights of professional rodeo action produced by 3R Rodeo, plus a Saturday full of family-friendly fun, live music, vendors, and more.
Friday and Saturday nights will showcase a Professional Cowboy Association-sanctioned rodeo at the Calera Courtyard. Gates open at 5:00 p.m., with Mutton Bustin’ for the kids kicking off at 6:30 p.m., followed by the main rodeo event at 7:30 p.m. Rodeo ticket holders are encouraged to come early and explore the Calera Corral, featuring food trucks, western gear, and specialty vendors—all inside the gates.
On Saturday morning, the celebration starts at 10:00 a.m. with a parade through historic downtown, followed by an all-day Main Street festival packed with live music, western-themed activities, and local food and craft vendors. The festival wraps up at 4:00 p.m. so everyone can get ready for the evening rodeo action.
“This is going to be an unforgettable weekend for Calera,” said Renate Ray, owner of 3R Rodeo. “We’re bringing the real deal—world-class riders, specialty acts, and high-octane competition. Whether you’re a longtime rodeo fan or brand new to the sport, you’re going to love the energy.”
Tickets are $20 and will be available soon on our Eventeny page.
“This is the biggest production we’ve ever tackled as a Main Street community, and we can’t wait to see downtown come alive with the sights and sounds of the Stampede,” said Alicia Anderson, event coordinator for Calera Main Street. “We’re still finalizing some exciting pieces, but mark your calendars now—you won’t want to miss it.”
